Top 10 Awesome Comic-Con Tidbits

For those of you who have been following my frantic "Tweeting" over the last couple of days, this will mostly be review. However, some things were so cool they deserved a second mention. Here are my Top 10 of the Con.

10. A movie starring The Flash and a TV show starring Blue Beetle are both currently in development.

9. Uncanny X-Men's 'Five Lights' and the new X-title 'Generation Hope' will examine the first new mutants since M-Day. These mutants will be 'different from any that we've seen before'.

8. Dust Tactics Deluxe Edition is one of the most beautiful pre-painted miniatures I have ever seen.

7. Force Unleashed II introduces a new "Force Fury" mode that cranks up the power of all of his powers to 11 for a short period of time. How much higher is that? Well, it is 1 higher, but that's enough to crush an AT-ST with your Force Grip or to tele-kinetically control both of your lightsabers turning you into a whirlwind of death to any Stormtroopers foolish enough to get too close.

6. Young Justice promises to be a gritty look at the lives of young superheroes, including Superboy, Robin, Kid Flash, and Aqualad.

5. Walking Dead promises to be gritty, dirty, bloody, and fantastic.

4. Parallax will be the villain in the Green Lantern movie. Killowog will make an appearance as well. Geoff Johns mentioned several times that this is not intended to be a one-shot movie and the plan is to make several follow ups.

3. Ships in Star Wars: Old Republic serve as your character's "Base of Operations", much like the Ebon Hawk from previous KotOR games. You can customize your ship and engage in space combat.

2. Joss Whedon will direct the Avengers movie. It will star Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury, Robert Downey Jr. as Tony Stark, Clark Gregg as Agent Coulson, Scarlett Johansson as Black Widow, Chris Hemsworth as Thor, Chris Evans as Captain America, Jeremy Renner as Hawkeye, and Mark Ruffalo as Incredible Hulk.

1. God loves Batman.
