The Games Day crew valiantly made their way over the perilous Delaware Memorial Bridge and through the wilds of West Baltimore to find themselves at the US Games Day. Games Workshop put on quite a show this year, giving away tons of prizes through Carnival of Chaos games, speed painting, and terrain and model building. New announcements for product was not forthcoming at this year's event, but it was a grand celebration of Warhammer Fantasy, Warhammer 40k, and the Lord of the Rings miniatures games.

GW had quite a few awesome tables showcasing their ranges of Fantasy, 40k, and Lord of the Rings models.

Big Gunz also brought out, well, their big guns with a mighty Ork Stompa table besieging an Imperial Fortress. They threw in a few "regular" Ork Stompas to show off the massive scale.

Our club table, featuring a kill team/king of the hill scenario, was incredibly popular. We had lots of people play, using our pre-mades or their own kill teams.

And of course, we saw some fans in amazing costumes! I even got to hold a real, WORKING chainsword!

Games Day US 2010 was a blast! We're excited to get going on our fall GW events and look forward to building some new, sweet terrain and armies with new ideas brewing in our heads. Keep your eyes open for our 1 Year Anniversary Events on Labor Day weekend to kick off the fall season of Warhammer Fantasy and Warhammer 40k.
