We've had a few people pick up Eldar lately, and they aren't an easy army to learn, so I decided to post here with some of the accepted wisdom of the Eldar community. I'll start of with the Eldar Bible, which is a compilation of discussions on Warseer and is a great beginners guide on the Eldar. Hopefully we can get some veteran players to stop in and comment as well with some tips and tricks on how to be effective with the Eldar.

I use to play Eldar a long time ago. For me, Dire Avengers were the only worth while troop choices, but an excellent choice. Their weapons have a 6" advantage over the Guardians and with Bladestorm, a unit of 10 can move 12" in a Wave Serpent, disembark and shoot 30 shots. Against an infantry unit, they will have enough distance to jump back in their transport next turn and dodge an assault they cannot handle.

I hear Fire Prisms are the ideal Heavy choice, but I think a unit of Dark Reapers would fit nicely in any army.
