Reports had reached Ulthuan from the Island of Blood that a month prior an excavated tunnel had been found by a scouting party of Ellyrian Reavers. Reacting quickly an exploratory force was dispatched into the depths. Since that time ships had been launched from Lothern and no word had arrived from the distant elven outpost or the exploratory force.

Once the forces of Ulthauan had landed on shore, more Reaver scouting parties had been dispatched while Prince Althran Stormrider mounted his Griffon to get an aerial view of the landscape.

After an hour of flying around the island, Althran was about to head back to the ships when he noticed a flash from the corner of his eye. He turned again to try and get a better view, and felt something small, fast, and green go past his cheek. Looking down a shape darted back into the undergrowth with the whip of a snakelike tail. “Skaven.”, the Prince thought with distaste, and turned back to warn his troops. He knew where there was one Skaven there would be dozens… if not scores and more not far behind. If the ratmen got a foothold on this island, they could use it as a staging point to invade Ulthuan itself. The elves have to push the Skaven back. They have to scour the island and eradicate every single one of them. They must to go to war.

This event will consist of a three round tournament, each with a unique scenario highlighting the new Isle of Blood units. Any 2,000 pt army can be used, but units from the Isle of Blood may be included as allies in any force and gain special bonuses in each scenario.

There is no entry fee for this event, and there will be many prizes, including a battalion box to the overall victor.

We will also have our first campaign movement round for our Quest for the Lost Throne Campaign.
